New New New!!!

Hey Everyone!
I'm sitting in my App101 class and I have nothing to do! I finished the assignment we're working on today quite a while ago, so I get to just sit here and mess around. It's pretty fun.
So I decided to write and let you all know that I have a completely new look!
Sorry to say that I don't have any pictures yet (well, I do..they're on my phone, but not on my flash drive yet..) but it's on my to do list.
I was inspired by my sister and my grandma/aunt Janalee/cousin Leigh. Terra cut her hair really short the other day (all by herself, and it looks amazing!!) so I asked her to cut mine as well. It turned out being shorter than I had originally planned on, but I wouldn't have it any other way. It's about to my jaw-line and is very choppy and "spunky" (thats how terra described it). I also changed the color. I saw my aunt and cousin over the summer and their hair was really dark brown...and I loved it!! I've been telling myself that the next time I dye my hair, I'm going to try to get it the same color as theirs. Well, when I saw my grandma on Sunday for coffee, her hair was the same color as Janalee's and Leigh's and that convinced me that I needed to do it pronto. So I asked Terra to come over to my house Sunday night, after work, and help me dye and cut my hair. We were half way through the dying process before she told me she had no idea what she was doing and that she's never dyed hair before...lol I was kind of getting skeptical at that point, but that's okay. She did a really good job and the color looks spectacular! Then she started snipping away at it and before I knew it a good SEVEN inches was gone!! lol

Anyway, I just realized I'm babbling on and on about my hair and...I'm pretty sure I'm just really excited about it, but no one really cares that much. lol Oh well, it's all good.

On another note, everyone is doing good here in SLC. My dad is enjoying his new job and my sister is working her butt off with school and her mural. She never has ANY free time any more, but she's enjoying everything..so it should all be worth it in the long run. Ashes was being really goofy this morning, she still follows me every where just like a little puppy. Smory has gone back to winter-mode. During the winter, after my dad leaves for work, she crawls underneath the blankets on his bed and sleeps all day while she's all snuggled up. I haven't seen or heard from my mom in quite some time. I've tried going over there a few times in the past week or two to say hi and catch up with her, but Gary is in town so she doesn't make time for me any more. That's okay though, I'm getting used to it. Everything else in life is great, so why should I let that one little thing get me down, right??

WEll, this blog is turning into a confessional, so I think I'm going to end it at this point and call it good. I'll add pictures today when I get home if I'm not too swamped with homework.
