Exciting!!

Okay...maybe it's not as exciting for everyone else...but it is for me so get ready...

We picked out a baby name for our next baby!! Hahahaha
Assuming the next little one is a boy, that is (and I'm sure hoping it is because I LOVE the name).
I was trying to think of clever names for a friend who might be having a boy and I came up with Kal-el (not sure how we're going to spell it, but that's the original spelling).
For those of you scratching your heads, that is Clark Kent's name on Krypton (you know, Superman?!)

It was after I suggested this (almost joking...because who's going to name their baby after an alien superhero?!) that Sean called and asked what I was doing. Naturally I went into a huge, long explanation because I tend to do that (if you haven't noticed that, you haven't read all of my blogs lol).
Then I realized how much I loved the name. Seriously people, I fell in love within a few minutes of typing it out lol. I told Sean to brace himself, and don't think I'm crazy or weird because it's probably just hormones, but I think we should reserve that name for our first son. There was a pause on the line before he said "I don't think I've ever loved you as much as I do now. That is so awesome, I love that name! Let's do it!"

:D So it's official. We're naming our son after an alien superhero. Go us!

(P.S. Apparently, it's not that weird. Nicolas Cage (also a HUGE comic book fan and superhero nerd) has a son he named Kal-el (spelled like that, too) .... but we're not copy cats of him. We're copy cats of Superman's parents. :P
