Sitting In School...

Hi everyone! I have no idea who takes the time to read my pointless blogs, but this is one of them. I'm just sitting in my web design class and I'm bored to tears (not literally, of course, but I'm getting close).

I finished my assignments in about 10 minutes. I think that means I'm super smart....or the assignments were just super easy...I'm going to go with super smart and give myself the self-esteem boost.

Today should be a crazy day. I'm really excited though. Let me give you the not-so-short version of my day. This should be fun..

I woke up this morning at about 6:30 to find out that Ashes (the grey cat) had slept with me all night like she usually does. I don't think I've mentioned this before, but when she sleeps with me, she sleeps on my chest right up next to my face. That makes it a little hard to roll over at night, but I guess she just kind of rolls with me when I do. Anyways, Ashes was curled up next to me when I woke up. I rolled over and turned off my blaring alarm clock because it was kind of a depressing song. (what a way to wake up, eh?) Then I layed there for a few minutes petting Ashes and thinking about what I wanted to wear today. I got out of bed and turned on my straightner (that's almost always the first thing I do in the mornings after I take a potty break..but that's probably more information than you needed to know lol). Then I turned on the TV to channel 13 because they had planned on doing a special interview with David Archuletta (For those of you who don't watch American Idol, he's the cute 17 year old from Murray that made it into the TOP 3!!). I watched that while I got ready for school. I had a piece of cheesecake for breakfast (I love living with my dad, we always have the BEST food in the house) even though cheesecake isn't the best breakfast. Then I brushed my hair and straightened it and brushed my teeth. It was so cute, the whole time this was going on Ashes was rubbing up against my legs. I love that cat so much. ANYWAYS. I went straight to school instead of picking up Terra like I usually do, because she had her AP test today. I met Marie in the parking lot and we went to our first classes. Now I'm sitting in the yearbook editing room during 8th period (on normal days I would have been home for almost two hours by now). Next comes the "David Archuletta Day" Celebration. We're going to be ushered by the school's staff down to the little gym where we'll then be hearded out to the field. We get priority seating for David's performance. We'll be out there sitting on the football field for 3 hours while the city celebrates David's success. After that, Marie and I will most likely go get something to eat (if we can find our way out of the school parking lot, that is. They say they're expecting up to, if not more than, 20,000 people to come). After we get back from our foot mission, we're going to the Memories Stomp (basically the coolest school dance all year because you get to see pictures of you and your friends from the last three years of high school). After the memories stomp (which goes from 7-10) Marie and I are going to go down town to my favorite coffee shop and color in our coloring books and maybe play cards until about 1145. Then we'll head home, because she has a midnight curfew. I offered to hang out with Taylor after I drop off Marie, but he said he's still feeling sick so he'll probably not want to. So I guess my day ends tonight at about midnight. I'll probably go home and crash on my couch in my room and not wake up until tomorrow around 1 or 2. (I hope!)

Wish me luck!

Sounds like a perfect day. I'd be in those stands screaming for David too. I hope he wins because that guy's got talent. Those must be golden days because I can remember them vividly even though it's been...let's say awhile!

Wow. I need a nap after reading all of that- what a day! I don't watch Idol but my Mom talks about it. Sounds like that kid has a lot of talent!
